Tamara Martin

President

The President of Sowing Seeds Tennis is Tamara Martin who earned her B.A. from St. Petersburg College. With a professional background in Human Services, Tamara began working extensively with Sowing Seeds in the early 2000s. Since the very beginning, Tamara’s vision for Sowing Seeds Tennis has been to empower our youth with expert tutoring and tennis coaching. That vision is fulfilled in Tamara’s comprehensive, individual-based approach to help all kids get a great start in life. Over the course of her 10+ years in the nonprofit space, Tamara has also put action to advice, serving on the board of directors of numerous charitable organizations in the Tampa Bay area. A Tennis lover, avid billiards player, and outdoor kind of lady, she loves living in St. Petersburg, Florida with her kids and volunteering her time with the communities’ youth

Uvonda Dandy

Treasurer

Proudly raised in St. Petersburg, Ms. Dandy attended St. Petersburg College and earned a degree in Public Safety Administration, minoring in Education. She has 15+ years’ experience with the Florida Department of Education and in the Vocational Education arena. These unique skill sets allow Ms. Dandy to assist the retired teachers with our tutoring services and create a winning curriculum. Ms. Dandy currently works with assisting the physically and mentally ill with housing and employment. Ms. Dandy loves helping our kids, parents, and tutors with their first steps into the Sowing Seeds Tennis family.

Quanette Feazell

Officer

Quanette joined the Sowing Seeds Tennis family in 2015 but has quickly become a true MVP to our coaches, kids, and parents.  As a trusted Officer, Quanette concentrate’s her skills toward the ongoing needs of the nonprofit. Quanette comes to SST with years of Banking and Financial experience from several large Banks and Credit Unions in the area. Her extensive experience with nonprofits, community leadership, education, and tennis gives her a unique skill-set to assist Sowing Seeds kids and parents with our vision to empower them through education and tennis. Quanette earned her B.A. in Business from the University of South Florida via Florida A&M.  In the nonprofit arena, she contributes her time and talent as a board member and volunteers for local children’s charities and community events. Quanette and her daughter reside in St. Petersburg, FL.

Esther Eugene

Esther graduated from college with both an undergrad and graduates degree’s in Social Work (MSW). Esther has over 20 years of experience in a variety of settings and with diverse clients and has maintained a stellar career in Social Work while adopting a personal mantra that is driven by Community and Servitude. Esther believes that change happens when people are given the guidance they need to draw on their own strength and realize their potential to live fulfilling happy lives.
